Reception Maths App Privacy Policy
1. What Does Our Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy refers to your use of the Reception Maths application (“App”), owned, operated, and provided by the app’s developer Geoff Lawton (“we”, “us”, or “our”). While the use of this App is directed to children under the age of 13 (“Minors”), we require the App to be downloaded by an Adult (an individual 21 years old or older). This Privacy Policy is directed at, and should be read, understood and accepted by the Adult who downloads the App and creates an Account. Please carefully read this whole Privacy Policy before deciding to use the App.
2. Collection and Use of Information
a) IP Addresses
Internet Protocol addresses indicate the location of a user’s computers or mobile device on a network connected to the Internet. Providing services to you may result in the logging of IP addresses for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We do not log IP addresses to track your session, nor do we link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable.
b) Application Data
Certain application data (data that you create and add to the reception Maths application) is only stored locally on your device. We may collect and store certain user data on your device using application data caches, but we never share yours or any Minor’s data with any third party services or people. The user data we collect includes: 1) the current profile name(for the Child profiles), 2) the child’s scores on levels. This is stored locally on your device so that you may login automatically when you restart the App. Application data is removed upon uninstallation of the App from the device.
Report Charts: A report is generated for each Child Profile (see Section 3) when a Minor uses the App to complete a module or lesson. This report tracks the child’s progress and achievement in a particular lesson. Report charts are accessed from the main app screen (‘levels map’). Both adults and the child can view the report charts. We only store this report data locally on your device, so if you uninstall the app, then the report data is lost
3. Child Profiles
You are solely responsible for any and all use of the name you enter under the Profiles screen (access to the Profiles screen is from the main screen).
4. Data
a) Data Storage
The only data the app keeps – names and scores – is stored locally on your device. We are unable to see this data. For each of the up to 4 child profiles that is added in the app, the name entered (to identify the profile) and report data is recorded. This is so that the child’s progress can easily be checked as they complete the levels. We do not have access to this data, it is only stored locally on your device.
5. Privacy of Minors; Direct Notice to Parents and Parents’ Rights
We do not collect or store personally identifying data from or related to Minors.
This App allows for a single in-App payment.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by updating this posting. You are responsible for periodically reviewing this Privacy Policy to stay informed about our practices. Continued use of the Application after an update signifies your acceptance of the changes.
